Also the chef at the end used a very informal goodbye by giving you the hand and hugging you meaning he really appreciated you guys, also he almost said "Ciao vecchio" wich is a friendly way to say hi in Emilia Romagna

Me an italian: i fully understood his view of the country. I live in Tuscany and our very neighboring small towns all think about themselves as unique and different from eachother even with a small difference of distance of 10km away
It seemed like Chef Massimo felt that the Jolly guys understood what he was doing with his food. This was a fun episode to watch.
